By then, you’re going to be internationally renowned for being a skilled fighter!” The rest of the young men immediately expressed their astonishment upon hearing Lindsay’s remark. At the same time, their curiosity in Zayn was piqued even more. They were staring at him closely in an attempt to see if he was indeed skilled in fighting. Yet, they could not distinguish it no matter how hard they tried because Zayn was too plain-looking and appeared no different than a man strolling on the street. They could not be convinced that this man was a skilled fighter without an ounce of a skilled fighter’s mannerism. Zayn was rather surprised, so he said to Lindsay, “Are you here to enroll in the martial arts cup?” If Lindsay and Allana were serious about participating in the martial arts cup, Zayn would certainly do everything he could to stop them because he understood how cruel the event was. They were utterly incapable of going through the competition in view of their capability. Lindsay’s answer verified his speculation. “Yes, how did you know about that, sir!? We’re here to take part in the martial arts cup! I heard that many internationally renowned fighters are gathered here for this martial arts cup. Moreover, all the fighters in the entire world are watching the event. If we can make a name for ourselves in the martial arts cup, we’re going to be famous worldwide!” She chattered endlessly with an excited expression and her eyes were glistening with joy. Zayn was not very surprised because he knew Lindsay’s personality well. However, Allana was a lady, so how could she come up with the idea to take part in the martial arts cup? Hence, he asked Allana straightforwardly, “Are you here to enroll in the martial arts cup too?” Upon his query, she replied, “Yes. Is it that strange that I’m here to participate in the martial arts cup? Stop looking down upon others.” Zayn felt rather speechless. He shook his head and said, “Do you know what happens in the martial arts cup?” Lindsay said, “Duh, it’s a competition for fighters!” Allana nodded in agreement. As soon as he saw their reaction, Zayn thought to himself how he expected that they had yet to understand the nature of the martial arts cup. “My speculation is right. You have no idea just how ruthless it can get in the martial arts cup. It’s more than just being a competition. You have no control of your survival once you’re in the competition,” Zayn cautioned. Yet, he was despised by one of the young men immediately after he finished his sentence. The young man grunted once and said, “F*ck, you speak as though you know everything about it.” The other young man said, “Indeed. The martial arts cup is a grand event for fighters globally. By then, all the moguls of the industry from different countries will be here to watch the competition. Can they afford to have fatalities in an international competition like this?” Zayn did not pay too much attention to the young men’s remarks. He advised Lindsay and Allana, “You should go home and stop thinking about taking part in the martial arts cup. The event is not an orthodox competition as you’ve imagined. Instead, men are killed in the competition for real.” Allana’s face turned ghastly pale at once upon hearing Zayn’s remark. Riddled with anxiety, she hastily asked, “Is it really going to be that cruel? People are actually killed?” Zayn nodded to indicate that he was not lying. Lindsay asked, “Sir, have you enrolled in the martial arts cup as well?” Zayn thought in his heart, ‘I’m one of the organizing committee members of this martial arts cup. What do you think?’ However, it was unnecessary for him to bring this up. He nodded. After all, his goal was to warn them not to join the championship. Yet, Lindsay said, “I’d like to give it a try anyhow. I think that I should be able to land myself a decent rank if I take part!”
