Chapter 329 An Argument
Nancy did not mind. While she waited, she began dealing with company affairs on her phone.
The rain started getting heavier, and the passersby on the street began leaving one by one. Even the employees were starting to leave work for the day.
The surroundings became very quiet, and Nancy was the only one left.
As the night grew deeper and the air became colder, Nancy couldn't help sneezing.
The receptionist later saw her again when she was leaving. "Miss, you'd better go. Mr. Fuller doesn't agree to see just anyone."
"It's alright. You can go," Nancy said.
The receptionist shook her head in resignation and left. She had seen many people like Nancy who all dreamed of going from rags to riches. However, Gideon was not an average man.
Time slowly ticked by, and it was soon 11:00 pm.
Nancy was now trembling from the cold. It was already so late into the night. Hadn't Gideon left work yet?
Up on the top floor, Gideon was in the middle of an international conference.
