Chapter 502 I Don't Like Him
Nancy paused mid-sentence. Then, she shook her head and said, "It's nothing. You can have the chef bring out the food now."
"Okay," Gideon replied.
After he gave the chef instructions, he turned to look at Nancy once again. Frowning, he said in a calm, steady voice, "I can tell that something is bothering you, darling. Be honest with me—what's going on?"
She lowered her head and didn't respond. A few moments later, she shook her head and insisted, "It's nothing. Let's just have dinner."
Since Gideon disliked the subject so much, Nancy thought it would be best if she didn't bring it up.
Gideon, on the other hand, stared at Nancy with a complicated expression. He was starting to grow jealous.
He thought she was acting this way because of Mason. He had decorated the entire restaurant just so he could give her a surprise. But to his disappointment, she didn't acknowledge his efforts at all.
He abruptly sighed before leaning against the back of the chair. In an emotionless voice,
