Joseph hadn't forgotten what Ethan told him last night—he was going to South Africa to look for his sister. "Where are you going?" Ethan couldn't help but ask, watching Joseph rush off. "South Africa," Joseph's voice echoed down the hallway, already out of sight. Ethan recalled his own words from last night and quickly realized Joseph was heading to find Selena. He shouted after him, "You don't have to go! Even if you do now, she won't be there anymore!" But Joseph either didn't hear—or even if he had, he clearly wouldn't have changed his mind. Forget it. He's not going to stop until he sees for himself, Ethan thought, eventually giving up on stopping him. "Book me the next flight to South Africa, ASAP." Joseph barked into his phone before hopping into the car and speeding to the airport. South Africa. Someone was racing to a hotel like their life depended on it. Joseph had no business dealings over there, but that didn't stop him from tapping into Ethan's network. He checked everywher
