Cameron wasn't surprised that Teresa had agreed to his request. Instead, he simply said to her, "I'll come pick you up this afternoon then." "No, that won't be necessary. I'll drive there myself," Teresa rejected without a second thought. Cameron was caught off guard by her responses. In the past, she would have burst into tears of joy upon hearing that he was coming to pick her up. Yet now, she was eerily calm.
