Benedict's mind went completely blank. He didn't think and just jumped out of bed, sprinting toward the rooftop. At the top of the hospital, Rowena stood at the edge, swaying slightly. Her eyes were filled with heartbreak as she stared at him. "Why? Why are you treating me like this? I love you so much, so why won't you marry me? Why do you keep avoiding me, refusing even to give me an explanation?" she cried. By the end, her shattered voice twisted into frustration and anger. Seeing her so close to the edge, Benedict's face went pale with fear. His voice trembled. "Hey, it's okay, Rowena. Let's just come down first, alright?" He took a slow, careful step forward and gently reached for her hand, but Rowena saw right through him. She stepped back again. "Don't come any closer!" Benedict's heart pounded. He forced himself to stay calm, speaking slowly and gently. "Okay, Rowena. Just come down. I'll do whatever you want and listen to anything you say. Just please… come down." Rowena
