For the past month, Benedict had been chasing Minerva all over—from Orubia to Eagloria—yet he still hadn't managed to say a single word to her. Even so, he refused to give up. As it happened, the Robertson family's business ventures in Eagloria had recently hit a few snags. Benedict seized the opportunity and used it as an excuse to stay in the country. He even went so far as to choose a house right next to the embassy, hoping he might "accidentally" run into Minerva more often. Minerva knew nothing about any of this because at the moment, her attention was occupied by something else entirely. Her mentor, Taylor Todd, was trying to set her up on blind dates. After the events of the past, Noah and Emily had grown deeply concerned about her love life. They were worried that once they were gone, Minerva would be left alone, with no one to care for her. Taylor, even warmhearted and proactive, had taken it upon himself to introduce her to a series of smart, successful young men from th
