The moment Blake found out I was going to leave Norvale, his eyes stayed glued on me. He didn't even look away once.
"Come back to Grayford. Don't you always like that lakefront villa? I already had someone—"
I cut him off. "Blake, do you really think I'll leave with you?"
Even if Lucas had instructed Lily to do all this, it was a fact that Blake had cheated on me with another woman and chased me away.
Besides, Lily had already fallen for him.
Upon hearing my words, Lily gently took my hand and said with a smile, "Zoey, if I ever marry Blake, I'll make sure to send you an invitation."
Blake held his breath the moment he heard her. He stood in the shadows, and there wasn't a hint of joy in his eyes.
Instead, he looked utterly disappointed. "We'll talk about this later. I don't see the point of getting married. We're still young, so we should just have fun for another two years."
