Ella Bailey turned her head, following Tina’s motion. On the surveillance screen, a room filled with sophisticated medical equipment came into view. A woman lay on the bed, her face deathly pale, her body devoid of vitality. Only the faint white mist on the light blue oxygen mask of the ventilator proved that she was still alive.
