Dr. Cooper froze. This was enough proof. Of course, there was no need for Ivanka to see if he exposed himself because Suki had already told her everything. He thought Ivanka would certainly get to the bottom of it and make him admit it. He did not expect her to let him go. After all, she already alerted Theodore the moment she came to him. Then, it must mean that she had obtained other evidence to arrest Theodore. Dr. Cooper remembered that Ivanka was a lawyer and may have a recorder with her. He wondered if she already found some loopholes in those few sentences from him. With that thought in mind, Dr. Cooper’s expression instantly changed. Lawyers were good at taking advantage of the loopholes from their opponents. Dr. Cooper said, “I repeat. I’ve done nothing wrong. Don’t simply accuse me based on a prescription that appeared out of nowhere and don’t slander Mr. Theodore’s name!” Ivanka snickered. She did not even glance at him as she said indifferently, “You can leave now.” Dr. Cooper did not know what to say about that. He thought he was done for. But he could not tell what made him feel so. That was because he could not tell it from Ivanka’s inscrutable face. He felt extremely irritated. Suki naturally did whatever Ivanka wanted to do, and she turned to Dr. Cooper. “Dr Cooper, didn’t you say you still have something else to handle? Why haven’t you gotten out of the car by now? Is it because you feel guilty?” Dr. Cooper’s expression instantly changed. “Nonsense! It has nothing to do with me. Why would I feel guilty?! I still have a lot of work to handle, but I can’t let you simply accuse me of something I didn’t do!” Ivanka stared at him profoundly. “Don’t worry. I won’t accuse those of doing crimes they didn’t commit. But if they did…” At this, the corners of her lips curved up.
