I stopped before the ancient Oak. It was so mighty that when you look up, you had the feeling that the Oak was trying to reach the stars and the moon. I have always admired this tree. When the wind blows through the leaves it sings a song of secrets and memories past. It tells of all it has seen and witnessed and loves long pasted. It even tells of the hidden moments we shared the moment when Achelous won my heart. It was a perfect spot hidden in the forest. It houses a secret location a place you could exists yet be unseen. It’s all still, the high grass and bushes that surround the tree it is a natural wall from uninvited guests. The only way to see if anyone is hidden there is to stand close to the base of the mighty tree. It’s quiet here and it is unchanging unlike the rest of the world. The view takes my breath away. The mirrored reflection of the lake and the sky is a sight that cannot be fully described. To feel the wind was blowing with chill I feel my body release some of the
