Chapter 99
Those were grand old days. Nothing could hurt me. I was happy and knew that I was protected from the monsters of the world. Shaking my head at memory, I looked at another picture Danny and myself after running around town on Halloween. I was dressed like a princess and he was upset because I got more candies than him. Swallowing a hefty thump in my throat, I moved farther along the corridor looking at other pictures of Richardson family. However, as I looked on I noticed that there were only old pictures of Danny nothing current or within the past several years.
Finally, stepping into the living room, I saw Mrs. Richardson wiping her hands on a towel as she met us in the living room. She looked confused as entered watching Mr. Richardson and flicking her gaze back to me and spoke, “James?”
She was the same as before just little more aged fine lines and slight graying. She still looked warm and inviting. The sweet smell of her baking waffled out from the kitc
