ARYA’S POV As I stepped out of the car, I noticed rose petals scattered along the walkway leading to the restaurant entrance. My breath caught. "Giovanni, what is going on?” "Come with me," he said softly, his thumb stroking over my knuckles. He led me forward, and with each step, my heart beat faster.
