Chapter 63

Kathleen sat on her bed and read all the letters. She had written all of them for Matthew back then, and all of them contained her affection for him. As for the letters he had written for her, she had burned them all when he left her. They once swore to be together forever. However, forever didn't last long for them at all. Kathleen lay on the bed. When she closed her eyes, she could see all the times she had spent with Matthew. There were beautiful moments, as well as heartbreaking ones. She tossed and turned in bed for a while, and she didn't even know when she fell asleep. Then, she dreamed that she was in a wedding gown, walking toward Matthew, who was in a white suit. He looked at her with a gentle gaze, and she was smiling blissfully. Matthew reached out his hand, and she did the same.
