Chapter 383
Outside the emergency room, the only one waiting was Landon, one of Mick's usual party friends.
Sebastian approached with heavy footsteps and asked quietly, "How exactly did he get into the car accident?"
The moment the pale-faced Landon saw Sebastian, it was as if he had finally found something steady to hold onto.
Landon explained, "Mick was just standing at the hotel entrance when the truck came barreling straight at him. The driver was drunk, and the truck was so mangled after crashing into the pillar that he died on the spot."
In a way, Mick was actually lucky. He had been thrown clear by the impact. If the truck had slammed him straight into the wall, he would have been crushed into a pulp by now. The force had been that brutal.
Still, his condition wasn't good. He had already been in the emergency room for nearly three hours, and there hadn't been a single update.
