The solution in the IV bag was nearly empty. Roxanne pressed the bell that was near the top of her bed. In the next second, the door was pushed open. "The IV bag is empty. You can remove it," said Roxanne. A warm and gentle voice responded, "Let me help you." Roxanne lifted her head. Surprise was written all over her face when she noticed it was Zachary who walked in with a bouquet cradled in his arms. "Zachary, what are you doing here?" she asked. An apologetic look crossed Zachary's face. "I was away at an event the last couple of days and only heard about what happened to you after I got back. I wanted to visit you, so I got your ward number from Elvira." He kneeled down in front of Roxanne before grabbing the shaft the IV bag was attached to. He then carefully tore off the bandage on her hand and removed the needle. He pressed down firmly on the new bandage with his large hands.
