Chapter 2 She is my mom only mine

When I was done crying, i drove back to the home. It took me a bit longer. When i reached home the lights of the living room was still on and my mom was sitting there . She was obviously smiling just now. But when she saw me she was shocked. "why are you here Riley?? " mom asked me while covering her shocked expression with a smile. "mom this is my home . Were you expecting me to not to come home tonight?? " i asked tears welling up in my eyes. "i... I didn't say that" mom was shuttering "i thought you would be late" "mom... why do you think so?? " "i... I...." "Mom where is dad? " i cut her off. she can't form a word. Was mr. White right?? Did she....did she sold me?? But why me i was her daughter .I was still not sure should I believe mr white or not.. But one thing was for sure dad was not there. "He...." "Dad is out of city. He went to his friends for help" it was sarah this time. " out of city?? Then why did you send me there... Was ... mr white right?? " I said tears rolling down my face. Mr. White was right. She sold me. I was such a fool to not to even know where dad was and to trust mom. I cursed myself to so be engaged on study and not thinking or talking to dad for two whole days. "yeah. He was right.... But looks like you didn't please him Riley... You are of no use... How dare you to ran off?? " mom was furious.. Like she want to skin me alive.. " mom... Why?? " i can't control myself and i was on the ground kneeling in front of mom.. Tears never stopping to came out... " shut up Riley.. Go back there now.. How am i suppose to face him.. I have taken the money... Do you want me to die.. Anyway I'll use this to help your father okay?? Just think that you are helping your dad " she tried to lift me up. What?? Was she really my mom?? Help father... By selling myself?? I shook her hand in annoyance. " please mom.. I don't wanna go there... I'll do whatever you say except for this please mom" i begged sobbing.. " Riley just cut the crap and go back there. Or else.. " mom said with a threatening voice. Yeah she used to threaten me to do anything till today. But not this thing. "Mom i said I don't want to go there. How can you do this to me? " " Riley, its just to helping your father. Why are you making fuss over it. Do you want sarah to do this. You are her older sister ,you should think about her future . Just go there this time ok? " mom tried to persuade me. "Think about her?? What about me mom.. " "enough of this Riley... Do as i say or I'll ask mr. White to came over here " mom was angry this time... " Riley let's have deal" Sarah said with a smirk "what deal?? " i was confused. "you know Riley, dad gave you 50% share of his company on your 17th birthday.. Give that to me and I'll see if i can help you " Sarah ,with that went to get documents from the drawer and threw at me " I've already get it ready. " mom said coming closer to me... Of course I don't want property... It was my dad's gift that's why I accepted this.. I picked up the file , open it and without reading i signed it. "mom, why did you do this to me? I've been always been good to you.. I always do house chores.. I never asked for money like sarah did... I've never been out at night like sarah.. I've always been good yet you always love her not me.. " finally i can't take it no longer.. I've been holding this to myself for years and now Mom had crossed the line so i wanted to know the reason. " how dare you to accuse me not treating you as daughter... I've raised you, you got home , shelter , food.. Isn't that enough?? " mom was red from anger. "Mom... I... " i wanted to say something...but I don't know what to say.... "Mom , i think she should know " Sarah said mysteriously. "What should I know... What are you guys hiding?? " i don't know why but I got a bad feeling about this. " Riley you won't be pleased to listen... But she is my mom... just mine.. Not yours...you are not her biological child " Sarah said with a bright smile.. I can tell that she was happy about it. I was shocked, i looked at mom.. But she was calm as if it was true... I can't help but to cry silently.. My whole world was shattering.. I looked at mom with teary eyes... She sighed and said " when sarah was 4 , we moved here from countryside....it was then when we found you... You were near the jungle unconscious.. We take you home but you forgot everything except for your name... We get you to orphanage but later we just can't leave you there so we took you in" I was just listening.. " now that you know everything, you can leave... It's unfair with me that i have to share my parents . After all I'm their real daughter.. " Sarah said coldly. yes right she is their daughter. I'll just ruin everything if i stay here. " take this money and start a new life.. Anyway you finished your collage. So you can get job for your living. And dont tell dad about anything. I'll say you want to live on your own. I don't wanna share my parents anymore. Even though he is my dad but he priority is you. Just because of you i can't get my father's love. I hate you Riley" with that Sarah gave me a check and left. I looked at mom. I wanted her to speak... I wanted her to tell me not to leave but she left living room without saying anything... She left leaving me alone crying on the cold ground. I don't know how long have I been crying but Right now i can't feel anything... My tears had stopped coming.... I just felt empty inside and my mind is blank.. I got up and went to my room. Changed my clothes.. Take out a bag put on some clothes ,some necessary document, toiletries and my little saving and then I went to kitchen and get some food on my bag.. While leaving i saw the check Sarah gave me.. I looked at it for a while and moved toward the door. I don't have a home now and i have nowhere to go. I just walk on the street without any destination. My mind was blank.. I don't know where i was going but still i keep on going....
