Third-person POV Anna slept after telling them to leave her alone. Jack was tempted to wake her up but decided against it. He brushed her hair then leaned down to kiss her head and whispered: "I love you." Richard grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the room. Jack didn't make any attempt to stop him.
