Thalia finally understood why Lucien had been acting so strangely today. She softened her tone and asked, "But you love me, don't you?"
Lucien didn't answer.
"We're going to get married. That baby would only get in the way of our future happiness. If you want a baby, it's not that hard. We'll have our own, and the one I'm carrying will take the Reese name too."
There was still no response.
