Chapter 83 She Is Not Quite Like I Remember
"What the hell is this?" Rupert asked.
"My contact info," Talia replied simply.
Rupert flipped the paper over and practically choked on his own laughter. "An email address? Are you serious?"
She nodded. "Yes."
"No WhatsApp? Do you use emails to talk to your coworkers and friends too?"
Talia's voice was soft. "You never specified what kind of contact info you wanted. But I promise—if your email reaches me, I'll definitely respond."
Rupert nearly coughed up blood.
…
By now, Lucien had grown numb to Rupert's uninvited appearances.
Rupert was a few years younger than him. Despite having a biological older brother, Tristan had been studying abroad for most of his life. So from childhood, Rupert had stuck to Lucien—closer even than he was to his own family.
After hearing what happened, Lucien just chuckled and shook his head. "After all these years and all those hearts you've broken, you finally met your match. That's a good thing."
"Good? She played me like a fiddle!"
