The morning sunlight poured through the windows, brushing across the marble floors of Logan’s mansion. The house felt unusually quiet, except for the distant sound of birds chirping outside. I stood by the kitchen counter, slowly stirring Lily’s porridge. A faint smile tugged at my lips as I thought of her.
