#Chapter 129 Finding Aiden
Carol’s POV
Waves of water engulfed me as I swam towards Aiden and the front part of the plane. The water was cold, but I hardly felt it with all the adrenaline pumping through my veins. The taste of salt invaded my mouth, making me gag as I went under another wave.
When my head broke through the surface, the burning sun scorched my bruised and cut-up flesh. I could hear the faint sounds of Aiden groaning as I got closer to his location. The waves were bringing the part of the plane lying on closer to the shore, but it wasn’t fast enough, and I was worried that it would bring him further out there. I decided not to wait for him and just to swim instead.
My legs and arms were tired from the lack of moment this past day or so, not to mention my body was still sore from the crash itself.
The salt stung my open wounds.
But none of that mattered right now. All that mattered was Aiden was in trouble and I needed to get to him. My heart was thrumming wildly in my chest.
