Carol’s POV I woke up feeling dry or gross; I had never missed showers so much in my life. This salt water and sand was drying out my skin completely. My head was pounding from the morning heat but at least I wasn’t waking up alone again. I had Aiden back and as long as we were together, we would be okay.
