#Chapter 164 Returning Home

Carol’s POV We spent most of the night helping Fiona pack. Even Charlie and Allen came inside so they could help as well. Fiona set up the guest bedroom for me and pulled out the couch for Allen and Charlie. They agreed to take turns on night watch. So, Allen slept a few hours while Charlie kept an eye on things and then they switched somewhere in the night. By the next morning, we were ready to go bright and early. Fiona sat between me and Oliver in the backseat of the car; the trunk was filled with her stuff. Fiona wanted to keep her apartment just in case and Oliver didn’t argue with her, even though it was clear he didn’t like it. It took us several hours with minimal stopping, but we eventually made it back to the Capitol. We arrived at Oliver’s place first and I helped bring in her stuff. After she unpacked, she and Oliver went back with me to the packhouse so I could see Aiden. I knew he would be in his office around now and I was way too eager to see my mate and husband
