Carol’s POV Speaking to Allen was not something I wanted to do. But I knew it was necessary. I was so nervous about it though. I hated awkward conversations, and I just wanted to get this over with. I waited until after practice before I called him into my office. I avoided eye contact with him for most of the evening until this point and my heart was hammering as he walked through the door.
