Elaine nodded earnestly. "Yeah, kinda fun."
"Let them go," Marcus suddenly turned to Nick and gave the order.
"Let them go?" Elaine blinked, thinking he had to be kidding.
Marcus waved her off. "Go wait outside."
Elaine squinted, clearly not convinced it was as simple as letting them go. But Marcus wasn't taking no for an answer, and Nick even did a polite gesture toward the door. "Madam, please."
Helpless, though clearly unhappy, Elaine had to step out for now.
Todd and Brandon were unbound, technically free, but neither dared make a move—Marcus's men were everywhere.
At Marcus's signal, they were seated.
"You should know how many bars and clubs the Iron Vultures run in Ravenfall, right?" Marcus asked, his gaze sharp enough to cut glass, fixing directly on Todd.
Todd quickly nodded. "Yeah, I do."
"Tonight, I want you to take my men to those places," Marcus said, his tone brooking no disagreement.
"Wait, for what?" Todd tensed up immediately, eyes full of suspicion.
