Chapter 166
LUNETH
Drexon's head pops into the frame as I turn to see him. "Who did you say was here?" he asked, his eyes narrowing at her as she fidgeted with her finger, already realising that this was not a situation she'd want to be in.
"Your mother, sir," she said in a low tone. "She came in and is now sitting in the living room."
"Call all security guards and have them meet me in front of the house." Drexon did not sound angry, but the way he said those words made me realise that some people were about to lose their jobs over what Rose had done.
"Thank you very much. Can you offer her something to drink?" I ask as she nods. I am not sure if I want the kids to run into Rose. "Can you ask the kids to wait in their rooms until I come to get them?" I added. Was it an irony? I was keeping the kids from their grandmother, not because I would not want them to be close, but because I know it is a genuine waste of time to even try.
She bows slightly and walks off. I close the door and walk to Drexon.
