"Aren't we going to talk about what just happened?" I ask when they seem to be happily chatting over breakfast.
"We are, but Marcus hasn't had anything to eat yet, and I do not think it is that urgent to skip breakfast over," she said.
"I did not have anything to eat," I say, and she blinks at me with a pout on her mouth as if she were ready to sympathise.
"You didn't? Isn't that just bad?" Her voice was dripping with sarcasm. "But I remember some working very hard on a meal and you just walking off," she added, and the smile on her face was practically a dagger.
"Luenth, can we at least..."
"No," she cut me off and turned to Marcus as if I did not exist, as they both chatted almost too loudly, as if they were trying to prove a point. Marcus was finally done eating the full plate of pancakes, sausages, eggs, fruits and a tall glass of juice.
