AUTHOR'S POV SAME NIGHT: MOREAUX MANSION. The living room was filled with people; Rose had a doctor come to read the test results, and Tema felt her entire world ready to stop. She had not been able to find a way to manipulate the results. "Sorry, I am late," Melissa said as she walked in. She had intentionally arrived late. Rose wanted to reprimand her, but let it be. They had way more urgent matters to worry about than getting stuck on her being late. "Take your seat," Rose yelled out with a command. "Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for us, so let's hear the results and all go to bed," she added with a cough. She motioned to the doctor to introduce him. "Go on." He bowed to her and then turned to the rest of the people in the room. "I will begin now." They all nodded. All of the cousins in the room were only there because they were curious. Was the proud Kellan truly a Moreaux, or was he proud of something he did not own? They were also curious if he was infertile, as Melissa had
