DREXON After Luneth dropped the bombshell on me, telling me she wanted revenge and she was going to take me up on my offer, she fell into silence—the comforting kind, at least to me. Before I met her, I barely spoke, but since we got married, I've been saying more words than I'd like in a day. It's not the kind that makes me want to grind my teeth in annoyance, but still, it's a bit wonderful to have bits of that old life back. I wonder if she is scheming or plotting what her revenge will be. "Thank you," she murmured to the driver. She still has no idea that we are surrounded by a host of bodyguards and special workers who have followed us here on a commercial flight. I know one thing for sure: the people who tried and succeeded in killing me in my previous life are going to come after me again, and this time, I have to be ready and make sure that they do not succeed in doing anything to hurt her as well.
