We arrive at the hall where the party is going to be held, and the door is guarded by the press. What was the old Mrs. Moreaux trying to achieve by doing this? Why was she so lavishly throwing a party in honour of her son? I just could not wrap my head around the motive. I knew very well that the entire family is not a fan of me; they see me as a burden.
