Chapter 1499
Alfred repeatedly tried calling Blake, but no one picked up the phone.
"That's strange," he muttered. "We spoke a few hours ago when he warned me that the general might try a midnight raid. Why has he vanished now?"
Uneasiness crept up his chest. Beside him, Eugene spoke up. "Either he's switched sides again, or he's no longer available to pick up."
"No way. Would Carl be so harsh as to harm his brothers?"
"They might've lost their freedom," Cedric said, looking in the direction of the island.
"Good point, cause he might actually do that. So, do we rush in?"
"Yes." Cedric nodded and didn't even hesitate.
Eugene stepped onto the edge of the deck and fired a flare into the night sky, signaling their men to make a move. As the yacht approached the sandy shore of the island, they saw figures running and shouting over.
"Help us!"
"Please help!"
