Mia stumbled back while Eugene crept closer. Her back pressed against the punching bag, and she had nowhere left to retreat. Mia stared at the approaching man with growing dread. She could practically smell the sweat on him. Eugene was wearing a tank top, his muscles out in view, glistening with sweat. Mia shrank back, her eyes fixed on a bead of sweat that slid from his chest and disappeared into the waistband of his pants. His soaked shirt clung to him, revealing the shape of his abs. Suddenly, Eugene threw a punch at the sandbag. The rebound knocked Mia straight into his arms. Her forehead slammed into his rock-solid chest, and her eyes nearly teared up from the impact. "Do you want to try it?" His voice brushed against her ear. Mia cautiously looked up. "Try what?" His eyes seemed like they could see right through her.
