No matter what, I wasn't going to starve myself.
I sat right down at the table. Jonathan glanced at me and casually wiped something off my mouth. I kept my head down and said nothing.
He kept me locked inside and made me eat in the room. Luckily, the master bedroom had everything we needed, but it made sneaking out way harder.

Jonathan asked, "What's wrong? You don't like it?"
After shaking my head, I set down my fork and knife before turning to him. "Nope. When can I go out?"
His face immediately darkened. "All you ever think about is leaving. Do you know how rough you look right now?"
I took a deep breath before saying, "It's just a headache. Didn't the doctor prescribe me painkillers? It's not affecting me now. Are you seriously planning to keep me locked in here forever?"
