Eric Carter’s eyes glowed red, fierce as a predator. Impatient, he kicked Vivian to the ground. A deafening crash echoed through the room. Vivian let out a piercing scream. Her face twisted in pain as she clutched her stomach and wailed. "M-my… stomach… it hurts so much." She reached out to Eric helplessly, still clinging to the last shred of hope. "Eric, please… save our baby, please…" Eric didn’t hesitate for a moment. He broke down, shouting accusations at her. "So it was all an act! Fine, pretend all you want, but why would you try to kill my son? You heartless bitch! You don’t deserve to carry my child!" The police quickly lifted Vivian to her feet and led her away. Bright red blood stained the shiny floor, spreading with every step she took. Her snow-white formal gown was soaked in blood. Pain drained all color from her face, leaving her unable to utter a single word. Eric Carter didn’t spare her a single glance. He turned to me again, anxious, pleading for another chance
