The smile on Julie's face stiffened the moment she laid eyes on Samuel. "Have you lost your mind, Samuel?" she retorted coldly. "Old flame? Connor was my senior. We're not in some unspeakable relationship. Please be more respectful to both of us!" "Senior?" Samuel scoffed. "Yes, you do think of him as your senior. As for what he thinks of you, I'm afraid it's not that simple." "You!" Julie couldn't hold back her anger any longer. "Samuel, you're being completely unreasonable! Do you really believe that everyone's like you and Cynthia? Do you think that everyone is as filthy and unpresentable as the two of you?" Samuel's face twisted when Julie brought up Cynthia. "Julie, how many times do I need to tell you for you to believe me? There's nothing going on between Cindy and me! "Cindy's father was my teacher, and she saved me during the avalanche. I only have feelings of gratitude toward her. I treat her well only because I want to repay her kindness for saving me. I don't have any
