Chapter 19
Samuel looked at her coldly. "If I let you go now, you'd better go back to your country immediately."
Though he finally let her go, Elise trembled. "No, I don't want to leave. I'm not going!" she cried.
She was now crippled. If she returned, not only would she have no way to make a living, but she would also become a laughingstock.
She refused to accept that.
However, Samuel wasn't offering her a choice. He didn't respond to her pleas and simply ordered the bodyguards to throw her out onto the streets.
With no one left to torment, Samuel sank once again into a deep, hollow emptiness.
The airline had notified him to attend the victims' funeral tomorrow, but he felt the urge to avoid it.
He believed that if he didn't go, Annabelle would still exist in this world.
That night, Samuel clutched the clothes Annabelle used to wear. Just as he was drifting into a dream of her, his phone rang, jolting him awake.
"Samuel, come to Felton Manor," his second uncle, Eddie Felton, barked over
