"Do you know Julian? Or does he know you?" I asked. I highly doubted it. Julian was a workaholic, after all. He had never even been in a relationship before. Back then, when he heard that I was in love with someone else, he had barely had any reaction, even though I was supposed to marry him. He said it was perfect because he could then focus on his work.
