"It's true that Dari and I are together," Julian said calmly. His voice wasn't loud, yet it carried mighty authority without the slightest bit of anger. The crowd fell silent for a moment, but they soon broke into loud discussions again because of Julian's words. Selene was the loudest of them all. "You believe me now, do you? Darina is a shameless mistress!" she shouted. But soon, she was drowned out by everybody else again. "What? Darina and Mr. Stirling?" "Mr. Stirling isn't married. How could Darina be his mistress?
