Chapter 19

After I finished up going over the paperwork that would be needed for tomorrow I went back to the room. I was still a little irritated about our conversation earlier. How dare she think I would let another woman lay in her place! She was fast asleep, on my side of the bed. A gentleman would have just let her sleep there but I just couldn't. I slept there because it was closest to the door and I had a few weapons in the drawer next to it. Sighing I walked over to my side and looked down at her. She was beautiful while she was sleeping since she wasn't talking. I brushed her hair out of her face to get a better look before I remember why I was over here. She's in my spot.
