None of them rang true, but he was so discombobulated by discovering her betrayal that he was floundering and didn’t know which way was up. The rug had been pulled out from under him and he was still trying to find his balance, his old normal, the person he was before Lisa came into his life. The problem was, she’d changed him and now that old life wasn’t appealing and didn’t seem to fit him.
