Erin’s POV I was usually confident in my abilities, but this wasn’t something I was sure I could pull off. Rumors were already spreading across the werewolf world like wildfire and there was no way I was going to be able to put a stop to it. I hated to admit it, but Theo was right. I had to use this to my advantage. Gavin said he was going to make a phone call and handle these rumors. It wouldn’t be long now before his statement was released and the rumors were shut down for good. But maybe they didn’t have to be shut down. I could tell him that I wanted to be with him and go to that Alpha convention with him. My stomach felt uncomfortable at the very thought of it, but Emily seemed to have perked up a little. She liked the idea of going to that convention with Gavin. She didn’t like the idea of anyone else going with him. Maybe this could benefit us both.
