At least you got to say goodbye... And with that I left the building, bringing my hood back up as I entered back into the rain and increasingly damp-street. I hunched my shoulders in an attempt to protect myself from the oncoming droplets which only a couple of months ago I would have craved nothing more than to be surrounded in. Rain meant fresh water which wasn't exactly in constant supply within the cells. But now I paid next to no mind as I jogged across the street back to the car, keeping a careful eye of my surroundings as I did.
