This medication must seriously be messing with me.
"Pitying looks? What--? Nobody even knows she's here."
"Yes, they do! Everyone does. Anyone who hadn't already figured it out found out this afternoon when Aurora went into town and practically screamed it to the Gods-they all know," She explained loudly, my eyes widening in dread at her words. I felt my chest tighten at hearing what the blonde had done, knowing the lengths that Charles had gone to keep my being here a secret. He'd claimed it was for my own safety and to stop any unnecessary questions, but now it seemed that Aurora had really gone and put her foot in it.
This was more dramatic than Eastenders.
There was a pregnant pause, the anger in the air palpable as I went to switch off the oven dial once the water had hit its boiling point. It calmed the second I took it off the heat, however I wasn't paying nearly as much attention as I should have been as I was still listening
