Lucas had just found out that Sophia never actually lived with James—they weren't even cohabiting. She had her own place, on the seventh floor of an upscale apartment complex. By the time he got there, smoke was pouring out of the entire seventh floor. Two to three floors above and below were already showing signs of flames.
