I could feel the weight of her venomous gaze, her words still echoing in my mind like sharp claws scraping against a chalkboard. Cat got your tongue?” she hissed, her tone loud enough to draw lingering stares from nearby tables. “You think this little show of yours means something? You’re nothing compared to me.” I stood still, letting her words hang in the air for a moment.
