Six Years Later Melissa, accompanied by her two adorable children, was invited back to her home country under the guise of an internationally renowned fashion designer. At the airport, a fashionably dressed beauty of a woman, accompanied by two adorable children, was seen gradually moving forward while pushing her luggage cart. The woman in front had a fair complexion, a tall figure, and long wavy hair cascading down her back. She was sporting oversized sunglasses and looked incredibly trendy. The two children by her side were truly a sight to behold. The little girl was dressed in a pink dress and had a pale, delicate face that was reminiscent of a doll. Her huge, adorable eyes sparkled just like black crystal grapes. The little boy was dressed in a black t-shirt and trendy shorts. Underneath his cool, coiffed curls, he had a face that was so cute it was almost overwhelming. His exquisite features and long, fluttering lashes made him always seem cool, possessing quite the star quality. The appearance of such a beautiful woman and her two adorable companions was enough to catch the attention of many. This resulted in quite a few stopped in their tracks! Six years ago, after divorcing Liam, she went abroad only to discover that she was unexpectedly pregnant. At that time, Melissa was quite depressed. She had just divorced and was unexpectedly pregnant with a stranger’s child, which even led her to contemplate taking her own life. Later on, Melissa realized that these two children were a gift bestowed upon her by heaven. In the past six years, it was thanks to their constant companionship that Melissa found the hope to continue living. Six years had passed, and after six years of silence, she had finally returned! Melissa and her two adorable children hopped into a taxi. As the car drove past a large shopping mall, there was a large LED screen at the entrance that was currently playing the news of the day. In the screen, the figure of Liam appeared. "What are your thoughts on the recent acquisition of Mega Star Entertainment by the World Group, Mr. Humphrey?" Upon hearing the reporter's question, Liam, under the camera lens, let out a faint smile. "The Humphrey Group will now be fully engaged in real estate, entertainment industry, and game development. Purchasing Mega Star is merely the first step. In the next three years, Humphrey Group will join the global top 500 enterprises..." As Melissa watched Liam confidently articulating his plans on screen, a trace of a hazy smile subtly curled up the corners of her mouth. After six years of parting, everything had changed. Humphrey Group's assets had tripled compared to before, and Liam's net worth had similarly skyrocketed. He had become a well-renowned business prodigy. As for Nancy, her dreams had come true; she had married him and become Madame Humphrey. Everything seemed so perfect, yet the happiness of the Humphrey family was all built upon her misery. How could Melissa easily forgive them? Back then, they had conspired against her, even taking away the fortune her father left her. After being silent for a long six years, she was back for revenge! Seeing her mother staring blankly at the man on the screen, Alvin at her side couldn't help but ask "Mom, what are you looking at?" Upon hearing this, Melissa came back to her senses, letting a faint smile adorn her mouth. "Just looking at an old acquaintance!" "An old acquaintance?" Austin Alvin blinked his big eyes in curiosity, his long eyelashes trembling slightly. "Mom, does that man have a good relationship with you?" Alvin's voice, still immature and cute, rang in her ears after some deliberation. Melissa simply shot him a gentle smile, refraining from giving an answer. "Brother, you're being nosy! You're prying into Mom's privacy." Austin Alvina chastised her brother when she saw that their mother wasn't answering. Alvin glared at Alvina, "I only asked! It's you who's nosy!" "Brother is bad, always bullying me!" Alvina pouted cutely, her adorable appearance was incredibly dazed and cute, seeming as though she was wronged and about to cry. The two little ones were often like this, prone to bickering. Melissa had long grown accustomed to it. If life didn't include these two little ones, it would feel somewhat dull and uninteresting. In order to pacify the moods of the two little ones, Melissa couldn't help but ruffle their heads, saying. "All right! Alvin, you're the older brother, you should always let your younger sister go first! Alvina is still small!" Alvin couldn't help but curl his lip, "In what way is she small? She was born just a few minutes after me, why should I let her have her way?" "Even if it's a second earlier, you're still her older brother! An older brother must take care and protect his younger sister! From now on, no more upsetting Alvin, understood?” Alvin raised his little neck proudly and couldn't help but snort "Humph!"
