Mrs. Henderson's hands were shaking slightly as she gestured toward the hallway where my son was waiting for me.
The white lights above illuminated her weathered face, making her look older than her fifty something.
"Mrs. Blackwood, I need to tell you exactly what happened today," she said, her voice sounding lower than before. And more urgent. "Because what I saw today... it wasn't a normal playground accident."
My stomach dropped hearing this. "What do you mean?"
"Ollie was playing with the other children during recess when the accident happened. He was laughing, running around, being his usual happy self, there was no sign of discomfort or rough playing anywhere and all the kids were playing with him. Then suddenly, he just... stopped." She paused, her brow furrowing as she seemed to be struggling to find the right words.
"He went completely still, his eyes fixed on something that none of us could see. His face went white, and he started shaking
