"Vera, which one of your damn eyes saw me getting cozy with some guy? Say one more word and I’ll blind you myself!" Cassandra smacked the coffee table, her face burning with rage. Screw this. One day, she was really gonna deal with that two-faced drama queen for good. Vera shrank back toward Evelyn, clearly intimidated by Cassandra’s fiery aura. Tears welled up in her eyes as she sniffled softly, "Grandma, I was just curious and asked big sis who that guy was. I mean, I really saw it. Didn’t we install security cams at the front gate? One look at the footage will tell if I’m lying or not." Evelyn caught the seriousness in Vera’s tone and took her at her word. With a dark expression, she got up and walked toward the surveillance room. She planned to use this chance to put Cassandra back in her place. Lately, Cassandra was getting way too bold—even daring to talk back to her. Cassandra, calm as ever, helped Alexander and followed behind. The Taylor family’s security system was top-notch—
