After listening attentively, Hazel asked, “Can we trace the man who impersonated Frederick back then? That might be our best starting point.”
The loli-voiced reply chirped back cheerfully, “That guy’s not simple either! I haven’t dug up much on him yet, but I’m working on it.”
“Mmm.” Hazel hummed in acknowledgment. “Keep going. I’ll handle identifying him on my end.”
“You got it, boss!” the voice piped before cutting off with a happy chime.
A moment later, Lang’s calm baritone filled her earpiece. “Boss, if you really don’t want to find Jane, then don’t. We don’t need Frederick’s two hundred million that badly.”
